Eloquii just recently launched their Eloquii Unlimited wardrobe box in August. I have never tried a clothing subscription box before but when I saw that Eloquii had one and the first month was free, I was definitely all in. I have always loved the quality and styles of the clothes offered at Eloquii. For people who may not be familiar with this brand they offer plus sizes that range from 14 to 28.
About Eloquii Unlimited
Eloquii Unlimited is a monthly subscription box where you can choose unlimited outfit options for a flat rate monthly fee of $79 a month. This is such a great option for someone who may want to try different clothing options or for someone who wants to try seasonal options and rotate their wardrobe out numerous times throughout the month.
So how does this all work?
If you are just visiting the site, you will click on Eloquii Unlimited and you will be prompted to create an account. Once you do that, you will be asked to put in your credit card information. The first month is free, so there is no charge to your credit card unless you decide to continue the subscription.
Once you put in all your information, you will be asked to start picking your closet. In your closet you are able to browse all kinds of clothings options in your specific size. What I have found is they add new styles everyday to the Unlimited portion of the site, so I browse daily to make sure I get the newest styles before the sizes run out.
Eloquii asks you to pick 20 different items to start. Once you do that, they will ship out your first box with USPS. What I did was go back to the website and pick as many items as I could find that I wanted to try. If you do this, there are more options Eloquii will have to curate your box and send it out to you ASAP. If you don’t fill up your closet, something might be limited or out of stock at the time and will slow your box down.
TIP: Check for new styles daily. I go to the Eloquii Unlimited site every morning to see what new styles have been stocked, as they add new styles daily. Once I find new styles in my size I add them to my closet.
3 Step Process
Tips: Rent, Return and Replicate
- RENT. Build your closet from many different style options. Eloquii will send you 4 different items at a time. Keep them as long as you want.
- RETURN. When you are ready for a new box, you send back all four pieces, or you have the option to buy any item for a discounted member price, which is a great deal if you decide to buy the item.
- REPLICATE. With unlimited exchanges, don’t be afraid to try styles you wouldn’t normally wear. The great thing about this box is it includes free shipping and free dry cleaning. So there is no worrying about cleaning your clothes. Eloquii does it for you. They also include free shipping.
TIP : Schedule a pickup from the convenience of your home. You can always schedule pickups from USPS on their website, this way you don’t need to go and drop it off, which can become a hassle. Make sure you go to their website and see if you are eligible for USPS pickups. I was able to go on the USPS website and schedule a pickup for the very next day. Eloquii includes everything you’ll need to return the items you no longer want.
The Outfits I Chose For My First Box
I wanted to try outfits I wouldn’t normally pick for myself. I decided I wanted to try a blazer. I loved the color of this piece as it reminded me of fall. When I tried it on, I instantly fell in love. I’m actually surprised that I sent it back. I may reconsider purchasing this blazer because it was absolutely beautiful. I would say, out of this entire box this was by far my favorite piece.
The second piece was this wrap around dress in cupid. When I first saw this dress I thought it was absolutely beautiful. I would have to say that some form fitting outfits are so beautiful and I love them, this one not so much. I just didn’t really care for this one, as it didn’t suit my body shape very well. Honestly, I think this is a personal decision as some may love this fit and material, but I didn’t. You definitely need to wear shapewear with this, which I did, but it still didn’t work out for me.
Third choice was this long blush dress. It is so pretty and I love the silver detail throughout this dress. I never wear this kind of style, but I figured, hey let’s give it a try. There were a few problems I found for myself with this dress. First, it was huge on top, I have a smaller bust and I had a hard time keeping it up. It just looked way too baggy on top. If you are bigger on top this dress would be perfect for you. Although it does wrinkle very easily, that is a small thing. I would definitely keep this dress if I could fill it on top, but sadly I will be returning it.
My fourth option was this white cape midi dress. This dress is definitely a statement dress. Once I put it on I felt like an angel and all I needed was a halo. This dress is really pretty and the material is beautiful and thick. I was worried about people seeing through it, but the material is heavy, so you’d be fine. I did wear nude shapewear underneath though. Overall, I would say if you’re comfortable wearing all white then this dress is for you. I really liked it, because it was definitely different. I could maybe see myself wearing this once for dinner or a date, and probably never wearing it again. It was lovely to wear for the short time that I did, but back to Eloquii it goes.
Closing Thoughts
I absolutely love the idea of having a rotating wardrobe to choose from. I think It’s super exciting to receive a box full of goodies no matter what you are getting. I wanted this Eloquii Unlimited box to be something I don’t normally do or try. With that being said I was prepared to try new outfits, and I am also learning what does and doesn’t look good on my body.
I definitely encourage all of you who are wanting to try a new monthly clothing box to step out of your own comfort zones and try something new. The great thing about this box is, if you don’t like it or a certain outfit doesn’t suit you, then send it back and try something else.
