Here Are Some Ways You Can Get Your Hands On Some Sample Minis
Test driving sample minis is a great way to explore and try out new beauty products. I cannot tell you how many times I have used a mini and was swayed either with loving the product or absolutely saying,”no way.” These days, Sephora,Ulta, beauty box subscriptions and other online retailers are making it easier than ever to test drive minis in order to try out new products. This way there is no commitment and you aren’t paying full price for a beauty product you have no idea you’ll like or not.

What’s even better is taking advantage of “samples” when they are available. Many retailers offer samples when you reach a certain price threshold or you buy a certain product and they give you something for free as a thank you. I can’t tell you how many times I have found my absolute must have beauty products this way. I love buying a new product, and getting a grab bag full of stuff to try. Ulta is one of my favorites when it comes to this.
If you subscribe to their emails, you’ll be notified when they run a weekly “sample beauty products” giveaway. So, for example if you spend $60 for online skincare, they give you a 12 piece hydration sampler. These giveaways usually last for 1 day. But they run all kinds of different ones weekly. So keep your eyes open and check your emails.
Monthly Subscription Beauty Product Boxes
Another great way to get your hands on beauty samples is a monthly subscription box. Over the years I have tried out so many different boxes and off the top of my head I have a few favorites.
One of my favorite monthly subscriptions is Ipsy . They always ship out a cute cosmetics bag and include 5 beauty products inside each of them. Every month they have a new theme. Ipsy has a price point of approximately $12 a month. If you can swing that, I’d definitely recommend Ipsy for trying out some new cosmetics.
For a higher priced monthly subscription box I would recommend Boxy Charm. This is actually one of my absolute favorite higher price point monthly subscription boxes. You get 5 full sized products each month, for $25. I know these aren’t samples, but to get 5 full sized beauty products each month in a subscription box is pretty cool. I love the products you get in this box, they are high quality, and last a long time.
Another great way to get your hands on beauty samples and minis is to sign up for Influenster. Often times, Influenster will send out beauty boxes in exchange for honest reviews. All you need to do is sign up, follow on all social media channels and if you qualify they’ll send you a box or product to review. You can also try a company called PINCHme, where you sign up, enter all your info and create a profile. They rely on honest reviews, and they send out an array of different products like hair care, and beauty products.
Magazine Clubs For Beauty Products
Last but not least you can join magazine clubs and receive promotions, as well as be entered into sweepstakes and special offers. Marie Clare’s Velvet Rope Club gives you access to free products like lipsticks, mascaras etc. Also, Vogue Insiders offers ways to receive free beauty products if you sign up. You may have to answer a few surveys, but try it out and see.
As you can see, there are many ways to get your hands on mini beauty products, without having to pay full price for them. I have tried so many free “gifts” and monthly subscription boxes and have had the chance to try an array of different products. Using some of these methods can be a great way to get your hands on many different beauty products and then decide which ones you’d invest on in the future.
